well, in the game there were plenty of instruments to play, and you played them by pressing any of the wii remote's buttons. There were various songs you can play, including the Super Mario Bros. theme, in which the default instruments were NES horns, and they sounded exactly like the classic sounds on the NES. That help?

I assume you saw that epic video of the band playing Mega Man 2's soundtrack live while a guy does a speed-run of the entire game?
