What I love about this piece--besides the always wonderful and expressive line work--is that it looks a LOT like Gus Alagretti, the puppeteer of Mister Moose from "Captain Kangaroo". Gus kind hated Bob Keeshan (aka The Captain), so I'd imagine him looking like this while tucked beneath the sink that Mister Moose and Bunny Rabbit occupied. I also imagine he dreamed that those ping pong balls dropped on the Captain's head were actually moose poop.
I've done it off and on for most of my life, Kyle. For a big part of my youth, I groomed myself to work for Jim Henson as a puppeteer and/or designer, and had encouragement from the man himself. I've puppeteered in plays and in some movies I've made, and I've designed puppets for various productions. My most recent design was for a zombie I called Abner Cadaver (built by my friend Gordon Smuder), just as a fun experiment: [link] I'm also a big student of other puppeteers, which is how I knew about Gus. He wasn't a great puppeteer--or even a good puppeteer--but comedy-wise, he brought a lot to Mister Moose and Bunny Rabbit.
