I started a new blog to showcase good animation I've found mysteriously amongst otherwise-poorly-animated scenes in Slimer cartoons! Check it out!

Aaaahh!!! This was one of my favorite cartoons ever. I was so obsessed with TRGB I should probably be ashamed. Also, I love your rendition of the little spud. :D

Awesome toony rendition of Slimer, dude! :)

And nice found on these videos. I used to hate most of Ghostbusters cartoons at this point exactly due to the lame animation, but these samples bring good memories.

Thanks! I think I could do a little better-- I was in kind of a hurry to get this up. I might try again.

If found myself appreciating the Real Ghostbusters cartoon far more as an adult. The scripts were really smart, the voice acting top-notch, the storyboarding always terrific, and if you got a Japanese animation studios rather than the Korean ones, a nice stylized look for the animation, even if it was low frame rate. You might find yourself surprised if you looked back on them.

For me he looks great. :D

And yeah, actually I've been re-watching The Real Ghostbusters cartoon recently, and thankfully it's still as good as it used to be in the 80's. Amazing japanese animation, and you can't go wrong with J. Michael Straczynski in the writing staff. And heck, an episode with Ghostbusters making references to H.P. Lovecraft, and then fighting Cthulhu itself? Now that's badass!

That cartoon did a great job expanding the Ghostbusters mythos, and luckly, the brazilian voice acting was incredible as well. Too bad it was never released in DVD here. :(
