The Mighty Mutanimals were a comic book spinoff of the Archie Comics version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They attempted, and unfortunately failed to make an animated series of it. For those familiar with it, you may wonder why Ninjara is in there. They added her to the animation pitch, probably to have a female hero as an added selling point. Since, there are so many versions of all of these characters, I mixed and matched features from the various versions.

I went with the proposed toon lineup. Slash was never officially a member. Someday I'll do a TMNTA lineup with Slash and Cudley in it.

Awesome! Yes I remember this...I was kinda upset when they were all killed off in the comic, though. >.O I saw designs for another mutanimals team, somewhere as well...not sure if they were for the saturday morning cartoon series, or what though. Interesting that they chose to include Ninjara, however. :)

If you believe that stupid, delusional, squealy, fantarded girls should be hit with a rake, copy and paste this into your sig.
Retro goodness. That show I would have watched, unlike "Street Sharks" and other such post-TMNT mutant-animal shows.

Damn, I wish they'd gone through with it. I was a big BIG Ninjara fan back in the day. The three-parter where she and Raf broke up was, I believe, the last of the TMNT comic released over here.
