The Catguy Kapowie Arcade Machine by TVsKyle The Catguy Kapowie Arcade Machine by TVsKyle
A vintage 1981 Catguy Kapowie arcade machine, just like the one our hero lives in at Uncle Mark's Vintage Arcade.

Adeptly colored by :icondelia97:

Aren't you going to have to build a real version of this for the live action scenes?

I'm likely going to have to come up with a new concept entirely. It's too much like Wreck-It Ralph.

Aww. :( It was such a great concept! Do you think you could use some of the characters in something else? They were awesome! Especially Elephant Boy!

I'll find some sort of home for these characters-- I like 'em too much!

hmm, I wonder how this game would play, like Donkey Kong perhaps?

You're just missing the off model character drawing around the screen. Other than that, this is good. I know how I would spend my time back in the 80's while my parents bowled on Friday evenings.

I used to spend a fortune in those old arcade games. *sigh* Good times . . . Good times.

That reminds me, have you heard of Disney's upcoming animated feature, Wreck it Ralph?

Thought so.
The way how you add some kind of 8 bit theme to this project gets me in a bit of a mood to see that film

The odd, limited color choices for the side panels sure make it look like a product of its time, I just would have expected the characters to look more off-model. Also, kudos to Aron for making this look very comic-booky.

I probably could've made them more off-model... I'm admittedly working at top speed here. I don't consider any of this stuff "final". If a miracle occurred and I got to make this a series, I'd do a lot more passes on this stuff.
Aron kicked ass.
