-Any comparisons to John K and/or Spümco will be hidden. I know most of them are intended as complimentary, but nobody wants to be compared to the same thing over and over. Yeah, there are some similarities, but not so many that I need to hear about it all the time. I have many, many other influences. If you'd like to know about them, check out the DA interview with yours truly: [link]
-On that note, occasional comparisons are ok, but if it's your entire comment, it's really a jerk move.
-Other than those of you waiting for my part of an art trade or those of you who have commissioned artwork from me, I don't owe you anything. If you want help, I'll help if and when I have a chance. I'll do trades with those who I see fit, and I'll do gift art for those I want to do gift art for. I'm a really busy guy, and a small handful of you occasionally fail to recognize that. If I do some artwork for a personal friend, don't groan. If I do a birthday present for an IRL friend, don't ask me to do one of you. It's rude. Stoppit.
-I'd appreciate it if you'd try to get jokes. Usually, if I'm saying something greatly outlandish, it's meant in jest. This is above and beyond the call of not being able to tell in written form. If I say, for example, that Dirk was banned for killing a man in Reno just to watch him die, I am JOKING. Think first, then type.
-That leads me to this: If there's a reference or a mention of a show or a joke that you haven't heard of, it is indeed ok to ask me about it... BUT ONLY AFTER YOU'VE MADE AN ATTEMPT TO GOOGLE IT. It's a great way to avoid looking really dumb.
Can we all abide by those? They're pretty simple. It's really basic golden rule stuff. A little courtesy makes everybody's day go so much smoother.
EDIT:
I missed one.
-If you swipe one of my poses or use a format you found in one of my pieces, please credit me. I don't mind at all if you do it, but come on. Credit where credit is due.

Commissions are indeed still available for now (especially if they're as much fun as the ones I have now). They're $25 for a full color one-character image, $10 each additional character. Digital only. Note me if you're interested.

Whatever you say...
Ermm...anyway...your ground rules are respected, good sir!

Also, I don't really consider you to have a style that's similar to John K.; You don't act like a pompous, self-righteous Dickhornet who thinks that everyone should only make cartoons exclusively in the fashion and humor that you do and then belittle and criticize everything that doesn't come from obscure 1950's animated commercials and coloring books.
Oh, and your cred points have just risen by twelve in my book; you listen to Mike O'Meara. :3
