B-Movie film great, Ray Dennis Steckler has died at 70. He created, amongst other things, my favorite piece of Grindhouse nonsense: "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies", which I became familiar with when MST3K aired their hilarious skewering of the film. Last summer, he completed a sequel called "One More Time" which cost a mere $3,800 and was filmed on 2 Sony Hi-8 video camera. It will see DVD release this summer. For those of you who have any idea what I'm talking about, let's mourn the loss of a low-budget titan.
