2 (who?)
Ok, I'm going to do something fairly self-serving here, but it'll really help me out if you're willing to help.

As many of you reading these words know, I've been developing a concept called Go-Rama for several months. I've begun pitching it and will be pitching it to various places. (Please don't ask where.) For those who know what it is and like it, it would really help to know what you like about it. What things about this concept do you like? What about it gets you excited? What makes you want to see it on your TV?

(For those who don't like it, that's cool. You're welcome to that. Please sit this journal out.)

UPDATE: Thanks everyone. I'm feeling much more ready to kick butt and receive names by force. Y'all are good to me. :)

I've loved your Go-Rama art since you posted the first one, and am really glad you decided to make him a full on hero instead of the "Not Cool" project you were originally going with. I love all the dynamic poses, the mix of silly weapons with the genuinely cool way he handles himself. I would so watch a cartoon about him. I think what I find most amazing is how it's such a simple design that manages to be so distinctive.

I think the best designs are the iconic ones. Every character that's ever endured has been something a child could draw a version of.

Heh, that's a good point. Another thing that really impresses me is how you manage to communicate the whole "superhero" part of his character through the body language. Outside of the wrist module and the futuristic sunglasses, he doesn't really wear anything that screams "fighter". Really, looking at your work on him helped me realize how much I really need to step up my game on drawing poses.

Also, I have to admit that this plays in my head every time I look at a picture of him: [link]

Thanks! I get a lot of Go's poses from tokusatsu magazines and episodes, particularly Gokaiger and the last few Kamen Riders.

It combines interchangeable power gimmick (one of my favs), with silly cartoony goofiness, and I love it for that! I think this is one of your best cartoon ideas, and I'll be really sad if this doesn't get on TV.
And when it does get on TV, I hope it lasts for many seasons!

I like how it's a bit of a 80s-90s action cartoon/anime throwback. Weapons, gadgets, sidekicks, villian designs/revamps. I think it would work great as either a gag a day or a continuing storyline. And I've said this before, but I can still see this as a fun pixel platform game. Ever though of pitching in that direction too?

What would make me hyped to watch this on TV would be to witness the over-the-top fights, the different Slaminals introduced in each episode and seeing your characters come to life! I simply adore the character designs and would love to experience this futuristic/retro-esque universe they live in. Something like this really oozes nostalgia since it seems like a huge tribute to shows like Power Rangers and video games like Mega Man. I really think that this'll be a huge hit among young watchers and the older crowd. I wish you the best of luck in making this happen, man.

Wait, wait...TV? Holy crap and I thought I was missing out on more TVsKyle comic goodness.
HELL YEAH I WANT TO SEE IT! I'm a fan of Strawbs, but I'd love to see your work brought to life.

For me, this shows is a very ''affectionate parody'' of tokusatsu shows, in funny and silly situations or sometimes would be if serious on shocking episodes, and special events in which some artists would be invited to make their version of it and finally give too much continuity in the plot, well that's However, I hope that helps you :)
